Through internships and co-op programs, students at Linxon Americas gain hands-on experience in EPC execution while contributing fresh thinking and building the skills that shape tomorrow’s energy landscape.
At Linxon Americas, National Intern Day is more than a celebration—it’s a reflection of our commitment to shaping the future of our organization through meaningful student engagement. Our internship and co-op programs are designed not only to provide hands-on experience in EPC execution, but to create a launchpad for students to explore their potential, discover their passion, and gain real-world insight into the energy infrastructure industry.
From engineering and procurement to legal, business development, and project solutions, our interns become part of the Linxon team from day one. They work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to live projects, and gain firsthand exposure to the complexity and innovation that define our work. This immersive experience helps students evaluate whether our industry is the right fit for them—while we invest in their growth, offering mentorship, training, and a clear path to future employment.
Nicolas Sanloup, Managing Director of Linxon Americas, shares his vision:
“At Linxon, we believe in building the future by investing in those who will shape it. This program is more than an initiative—it’s a personal commitment. I designed it with a clear purpose: to connect our team with the university and ensure that the next generation starts their journey with us. Our approach is simple yet powerful: we integrate students into our teams early, giving them real-world exposure to the energy infrastructure industry while they’re still studying. Whether they join us for a summer internship or a longer co-op rotation, they gain firsthand experience in EPC execution, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and learn how our solutions power communities across the Americas.
Every day, I push to make sure this vision becomes reality—because the future of energy starts with the people we empower today. “This isn’t just training—it’s a two-way investment. Students get a chance to explore whether our industry is the right fit for them, while we invest time, mentorship, and resources to help them succeed. Many of our interns go on to join Linxon full-time, already equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and relationships needed to thrive.”

Here are just a few examples of how our interns are already making an impact:
Joseph Fahey, a mechanical engineering student at NC State, supports our engineering team with CAD drafting and calculation templates. His experience at Linxon sparked a new passion for energy systems and deepened his understanding of the grid.

“My entire life I have had the dream of becoming an engineer, but I had never thought that energy would end up being a true passion of mine. Seeing how much engineering and design work that goes into these substations that power the entirety of the grid really drew my attention and forever changed how I look at electrical systems.”
– Joseph Fahey, Engineering Team
Eesha Atif is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at NC State University with a strong research background in RF sensing, signal processing, and power electronics. At Linxon she supports our procurement team by reviewing supply chain documentation and assisting with audit preparations across several projects.
“Joining Linxon as an intern has been incredible. Understanding power systems from an EPC perspective has helped me see electrical engineering in action. Working closely with the Procurement team has enriched my professional journey and personal growth by adding a practical dimension to technical solutions.”
— Eesha Atif, Procurement Team

Henry Scott is a Computer and Electrical Engineering student at NC State University. During his internship with Linxon’s Project Solutions Team, he gained firsthand exposure to how complex infrastructure projects come together—from substations and BESS to transmission systems and more. Through this experience, he learned how each team plays a role in delivering real solutions across the EPC value chain.

“At Linxon, I had the chance to explore how substations, BESS, and other technologies are designed and built. Every stage—engineering, procurement, and construction—became a hands-on learning experience. I saw how dedicated everyone is to making things happen and how much they truly love what they do and who they do it with. The team’s patience and support gave me confidence I never thought I’d gain before graduating.”
– Henry Scott –Project Solutions Team
John Angrilla, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Shaw University and is currently pursuing two Master’s degrees in Political Science, specializing in Climate Policy, at UNC Chapel Hill and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. He joined Linxon as part of our legal team, where he has gained experience understanding the energy and construction sectors, as well as advancing his knowledge of renewable energy policies.
“I’m proud to have supported our licensing projects across the U.S., helping the team with important construction license work. It’s been rewarding to contribute to something so meaningful. Linxon truly feels like a place where people support each other—and I’d recommend it to anyone.”
– John Angrilla, Legal Team

Carter Easton is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at NC State University. In addition to his academic success, Carter is also a dedicated athlete who has been on the Dean’s List at two universities. He joined Linxon interested in the vastness of the power grid and how many different teams work together to keep it running—especially in generation and transmission.

“I came at Linxon curious about how civil and electrical engineering work together—and I’ve learned so much about real-world projects. One of the most interesting things I’ve learned at Linxon is how three-phase power works—along with concepts like reactive power, inductance, and capacitance. It’s all connected, and it helped me understand how complex and fascinating power systems really are.”
– Carter Easton, Business Development Team
To all our interns: thank you for your curiosity, your drive, and your willingness to learn. You are helping us shape the future of Linxon Americas, and we’re proud to be part of your journey.
Happy National Intern Day!
