At Linxon, growth is not just about learning new skills; it is also about discovering purpose, building confidence, and finding a sense of belonging. For the latest cohort of graduates from Engineering and Finance, the past year has been a journey shaped by learning, transformation, and meaningful experiences.
Nearly a year into their journey at Linxon’s Global Engineering, Technology and Services (GETS) team in Chennai, India, the graduates recently came together for an open and reflective catch-up session. The discussion offered a candid glimpse into their transition from campus life to the professional world, highlighting moments of growth, discovery, and personal achievement through the Linxon GETS experience.
The graduates reflected on how the past several months have shaped them both professionally and personally. From navigating steep learning curves to developing greater confidence and independence, the experience has proven transformative in many ways.
Others spoke about learning beyond simply completing tasks. “It’s been a meaningful experience with a learning curve. I’ve changed a lot professionally and I’m learning the how and the why, not just the task,” shared Mukesh Akula.
Several graduates also reflected on achieving financial independence for the first time and embracing the responsibilities that came with it — an unexpected yet deeply empowering milestone in their professional journey.

Beyond the work itself, Linxon’s culture left a lasting impression on many of them.
“The culture here is peaceful and fun; it truly makes a difference. The inclusive and supportive environment helped us settle in quickly and feel comfortable,” said Jayakumar.
The transition from campus to corporate life also brought valuable realizations. Graduates spoke about how workplace relationships take on deeper meaning and how professionalism extends well beyond technical expertise.
“It’s no longer just about acquaintances, commitment to work truly matters, and relationships play a significant role in shaping your career,” said Ansh Verma. “Having strong mentors and learning to communicate professionally have been crucial,” he added.
Many graduates emphasized the critical role played by mentors and supervisors, who emerged as key enablers in their development journeys by offering guidance, trust, and opportunities to learn independently.
“I’ve learned the importance of staying calm and composed from my supervisor, along with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. His trust in my work and the space he gives me to own my responsibilities have helped me grow,” shared Dhanushya.
The graduates also highlighted the importance of taking ownership and maintaining proper documentation to support continuity, future learning, and the sharing of best practices across teams.
Rhea George shared one particularly impactful experience: “Even as a trainee, I was entrusted with opportunities to present across various leadership levels, which I found both surprising and motivating.”
Several moments reshaped the graduates’ understanding of engineering and corporate life. “The past months have truly bridged the gap between academic learning and industry practice. While we learned the principles in college, this experience has shown us how they are applied in practice within a real-world business environment,” said Aneesh. “It also helped me build the confidence to express my ideas and opinions more effectively.”
Over the months, the graduates developed a wide range of technical and professional capabilities, including communication skills, core engineering knowledge, data analysis and interpretation, and proficiency in digital tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, AutoCAD, BIM, Excel macros, and Supply Chain Management workflows.

“I got great support from my team across various supply chain activities. It felt like learning something new every day! Working alongside such experienced and friendly teammates truly made a big difference,” shared Andril Kothai.
This combination of technical expertise and workplace learning has strengthened the graduates’ confidence and readiness for real-world project environments.
Arunachalam A, General Manager – Linxon GETS, added, “At GETS, we are invested in nurturing fresh talent and building the industry leaders of tomorrow. This group of graduates from Engineering and Finance has truly stood out through their dedication, fresh perspectives, strengthening our collective capabilities and enriching our culture.”
Gratitude emerged as a recurring theme throughout the session: gratitude for teammates, mentors, and leaders who made time to guide, support, and encourage them at every stage. Many graduates acknowledged the value of structured training sessions, technical learning opportunities, and the constant encouragement they received from supervisors and peers. The supportive ecosystem was fondly referred to as the “Grads family.”
Reflecting on the graduates’ progress, Vandhana Jayakumar, HR Manager – Linxon GETS, said, “At Linxon GETS, we look forward to recruiting more graduates who bring fresh perspectives, curiosity, and energy. Through our structured Graduate Program, we are committed to their development by providing meaningful opportunities, hands-on experience, mentoring, and the right support, so they can grow, innovate, and build strong careers while making a real impact.”
As these graduates continue their professional journey, their shared experiences reflect the promise of what is possible at Linxon GETS, where continuous learning, strong human connections, and a supportive culture empower individuals to thrive and build careers with lasting impact.
