Nigel W.M. White is Chief Operating Officer for AtkinsRéalis Nuclear, a world-class nuclear organization specializing in nuclear energy and power. Nigel is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the global nuclear business and implementing strategies to ensure operational excellence.

He joined AtkinsRéalis in 2019 as Chief Risk Officer leading the Project Oversight, Health, Safety and Environment, Risk and Security functions, driving improved standards and derisking the company’s project portfolio in line with business objective and strategy.

Nigel has over 40 years of direct experience in the construction and engineering sector with a focus on leadership and project management. Before joining AtkinsRéalis, he spent over 30 years with Balfour Beatty, working on international engineering and construction projects across diverse sectors. In his last seven years there, Nigel served as Executive Director at Gammon Construction in Hong Kong, overseeing operations, financial performance, and business growth.

He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a past Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
