Exploring EPC perspectives, construction challenges, and clean energy’s role in AI.
Linxon Americas actively engaged in DTECH Data Centers & AI 2025 in San Jose, California, presenting our advanced substation solutions and smart infrastructure designed to support the clean energy transition. Our team provided valuable insights into the EPC perspective, construction challenges, and the critical role of clean energy in meeting the growing demands of AI.
Our team led a panel discussion addressing critical issues such as permitting delays, labor shortages, engineering complexities, and substation execution. These topics are pivotal in determining how infrastructure is delivered and were explored through case studies and diverse perspectives from across the region. The event gathered key players from the digital infrastructure space, including Google and Microsoft, with Linxon representing the EPC perspective.
The growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and data centers is reshaping the energy landscape. A December 2024 report from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory found that data centers consumed about 4.4% of total U.S. electricity in 2023 and are expected to consume approximately 6.7% to 12% of total U.S. electricity by 2028. This significant increase in energy demand underscores the importance of integrating clean energy solutions to support sustainable growth.
We extend our gratitude to everyone who visited our stand, our colleagues who represented Linxon on stage, our guests who joined the discussion, and the new connections we made. We look forward to what comes next.
