Linxon proudly participated in Mass-Trans Innovation Japan 2025 (MTI Japan), Asia’s premier trade fair dedicated to railway technology and mass transit systems. Held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, the event brought together over 580 companies and more than 39,000 visitors, making it the largest platform for innovation in rail infrastructure and sustainable mobility in the region.
This year’s theme emphasized innovation, safety, reliability, comfort, environmental responsibility, and operation and maintenance of railways, aligning perfectly with our mission to deliver sustainable, future-ready rail solutions.

As a global partner in rail electrification, the Linxon AMEA team showcased its expertise in turnkey power supply systems that enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across rail networks. Yasir Shah, Linxon Sales Director for Railway AMEA discussed strategies for achieving net zero in railway electrification in a thought leadership session. It was an insightful conference on “Accelerating the Shift to Low-Carbon Transit Systems.” In connection with the trade fair, Linxon had the opportunity to meet with representatives of Japanese export finance institutions, commercial banks as well as major trading houses of Japan.
The event provided a platform to strengthen collaborations across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, reinforcing Linxon’s role in shaping sustainable mobility. Visitors explored our integrated rail electrification portfolio, including advanced substation designs and digital tools that improve operational efficiency.

Among our distinguished visitors, Linxon was honored by a visit from Ahmed El Kordy, the Commercial Second Secretary of the Embassy of Egypt. The discussions focused on sharing perspectives on emerging trends and best practices in sustainable rail electrification along with future investments in the rail segment for Egypt.
Linxon’s participation at MTI Japan 2025 underscores our commitment to building sustainable, energy-efficient rail systems that power progress across AMEA and beyond. Together with our partners, we are driving the future of safe, reliable, and low-carbon transportation.
