We are proud to announce the successful mobilization of the first sites for Tranche 1 projects in Puerto Rico – Juan Martín Substation and Jobos Substation
These projects mark a critical step toward upgrading 9 substations across the island, enabling the integration of 900 MW of renewable energy into Puerto Rico’s grid.
After months of engineering, procurement, and permitting, we are now focused on execution – delivering safe, high-quality, and on-time construction in partnership with our contractor @Lord Electric.
Our goal: achieve interconnection by March 2026, supporting LUMA / PREPA and the communities of Puerto Rico in building a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
This milestone is more than a project update – it’s a commitment. A commitment to progress, to partnership, and to the people of Puerto Rico.
