Babil 400/132/11 kV Rehabilitation BSP, Iraq

Linxon has been selected supplier for the rehabilitation activities for the first section in Babil 400/132/11 kV Rehabilitation BSP in Iraq.

The works include upgrading of the existing Hitachi Energy Equipment (Former ASEA) 400 kV breakers, disconnectors, control and protection, SCADA systems and auxiliary systems.

The project helps to pro-long the technical life span of this station which is vital for the transmission grid in central Iraq. It is part of a framework loan agreement with the Iraqi Government to reinforce the Iraqi super Grid and support ongoing growth plans.
