Linxon has been selected for the rehabilitation activities by the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity to rehabilitate three main 400 kV BSP stations in Baghdad and Diyala part of the Iraqi Electrical Super Grid under SEK loans and EKN guarantees.
The project scope encompasses the rehabilitation of three main 400 kV BSP stations part of the Iraqi Electrical Super Grid: North Baghdad 400 kV BSP, South Baghdad 400 kV BSP, and Diyala 400 kV BSP.
The rehabilitation work will consist of upgrading electrical equipment, enhancing protection and control systems, and improving the infrastructure of the stations to ensure continuous and efficient operation. This initiative aims to reinforce the grid and prolong the operational life cycle of the substations while developing the infrastructure of the electrical super grid transmission network in Iraq.
