The Shegran Wind 380/33 kV BSP substation is part of SEC’s sixth round of the National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) accelerating Saudi Arabia’s clean energy targets under Vision 2030.

Linxon has been awarded the contract to deliver the Shegran Wind BSP on a turnkey basis, managing everything from design and engineering to construction and commissioning. The project includes the full scope of engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of substation facilities, ensuring a fully operational solution that meets the highest standards of reliability and performance.

The new BSP will feature advanced 380 kV gas-insulated switchgear, hybrid GIS, bus and line reactors, auxiliary transformers, and synchronous condensers. These components will enable seamless integration of the Shegran Wind Plant into the national grid, strengthening Saudi Arabia’s renewable energy infrastructure and supporting its transition toward a sustainable energy future.

This award underscores Linxon’s commitment to delivering reliable and innovative power solutions across the Kingdom, marking another milestone in powering Saudi Arabia’s energy transformation.
