South Aziziya and Al Mashaer 380 kV project, Saudi Arabia

The South Aziziya and Al Mashaer 380 kV projects are part of Saudi Electric Company (SEC) short-term initiative to energize the 380 kV Arafat West substation and five newly constructed 110/13.8 kV distribution substations. These efforts support the broader development of infrastructure across the holy sites. The South Aziziya and Al Mashaer 380 kV expansion projects in the Holy city of Mecca are due to ensure reliable power for 2025 Hajj season.

Linxon’s scope of work in this project includes engineering, design, installation and commissioning for the reinforcement of the existing substations with new 380 kV GIS switchgears, control & protection and all associated civil construction and mechanical works for the new scope.
