Meet Nisha Mehta, Senior Project Engineer in India.

At Linxon, we are proud to have a team of talented women engineers who are driving innovation and making a positive impact in the world. Today is International Women in Engineering Day, a day to celebrate and recognize the amazing contributions of women in the engineering industry.

I grew up watching my father’s factory premises wherein machines used to attract me a lot. I was really curious about how machines work which led me towards choosing the Engineering stream.

Secondly, during my university days, I designed a numerical distance relay which was successfully tested in our university lab, and now it is part of the college laboratory for carrying out experiments. Working in technology driven company fascinates me and keeps me motivated for my daily professional deliverables.

I’ll know that I’ve achieved my professional goals when I see that work, in which I am involved, is contributing to the need of society and I really feel proud for this. Even when I see new generation coming and joining our business, my efforts in training them towards becoming better professionals excites me a lot and gives me sense of achievement of my goal.

I realised that Linxon is an inclusive place to work when I am being considered and nominated for any project works based on my capabilities and not gender. Also, my suggestions during any project discussion are being equally considered upon in best interest of the project being executed by Linxon.

I challenge inequality by continuously working and improving upon skill sets, required for our business and close collaborative approach working internally with colleagues and externally with Customers. Speaking out whenever I see acts of inequality not limited to my workplace but also other areas contributing to the betterment of society.

Today, we are celebrating International Women in Engineering Day!
