The HSE efforts in the project have achieved overall 669 perfect days, provided 24,498 training hours, 8227 step backs, given 90 HSE awards and reporting of 2774 hazards till date. The team is focused and continuing the same efforts for successful completion and energization of the substation.

The project site works started on May 2021 and has gone through various challenges like shortage of space, telecommunications network tower built at the entrance of the plot, busy roads at three sides of the plot, the fourth side with infrastructure contactors road constructions work and – which being the only access for construction works. The project was in high priority for our client DEWA under the Lean Project Management model, which intensified pressure on the project team in execution.

Needless to say, the project team, with the support of management, is executing the project professionally.

Highlights in this project is the implementation several innovative sustainable solutions – Solar hybrid system (Off-Grid PV Solar Diesel Hybrid System) powering the site office facility with solar power, solar portable lights, plastic reduction and recycle initiatives, paper and wood recycling efforts, HSE week, mental well-being program etc.
