Linxon in Bahrain has successfully energized the Addari 220/66/11 kV BSP Substation, part of a major project known as “220 kV & 66 kV Transmission Development 2012-2016”, for the customer Electricity & Water Authority – Kingdom of Bahrain.
As part of this project, Linxon provided for Addari 220kV BSP, the complete engineering, procurement, installation, testing & commissioning of 220 kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 66 kV gas-insulated switchgear, 21/11kV switchgears, integrated control system (ICS), control & protection system, high voltage/medium voltage and low voltage cables and relevant terminations, auxiliary power supplies, including house transformer 11 kV/400 V, standby diesel generator and earthing/earth grid works.
