February 20, 2025

Supporting Plenitude’s renewable energy expansion, Linxon delivers a BoP solution to strengthen grid reliability in Texas.

Linxon, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company specializing in energy infrastructure, proudly announces its role as the EPC partner for the successful mechanical completion of the 200 MW / 200 MWh Guajillo Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Webb County, Texas.

This project, owned by Plenitude, a company controlled by Eni, is built alongside Plenitude’s 200 MW Corazon Solar Farm and is scheduled to become operational by mid-2025. Leveraging lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells, the Guajillo BESS will enhance grid reliability, flexibility, and the integration of renewable energy into the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market—one of the most active BESS markets in the United States.

“This project exemplifies Linxon’s dedication to providing EPC services for fast-track projects and meeting customer needs with our expert team,” said Nicolas Sanloup, President and Managing Director of Linxon Americas. “We are proud to assist Plenitude in expanding their renewable energy portfolio and strengthening their presence in the U.S. market.”

As the EPC partner, Linxon played a crucial role in ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of the Guajillo BESS, contributing to the sustainable transformation of the U.S. energy landscape.
