Linxon has been chosen by Svenska kraftnät to deliver the CT36 Kimstad Air Insulated Brownfield Substation (AIS) project, located southwest of Norrköping.

The new contract consists of the construction of a brownfield 5-bay 400 kV substation, with commissioning and energization planned towards the end of 2027.

“With our extensive experience in brownfield and rehabilitation projects, we are proud to take on this complex project and will keep outages to a bare minimum throughout the entire construction phase,” said Andreas Burstedt, General Manager at Linxon Nordics.

Linxon offers turnkey solutions for design, manufacturing, supply, manufacture, delivery, installation, and commissioning. The company is currently involved in other projects with Svenska Kraftnät including Ringhals, Hall, Grundfors, and Kilanda.
