July 28th, 2023 Update:  Team #Linxon is marking an important milestone at the Vineyard Wind 1 project by completing the back feed with the #Eversource substation. The 3 companies, Vineyard Wind, Eversource Energy, and Linxon have successfully energized the AIS substation, including transformers, switchgear, and other electrical components! It is a significant step towards connecting renewable energy into the ISO New England Power Grid for the first utility-scale offshore wind project ever built in the US.

We are proud of our teams and thank them for their effort. Kudos to the Vineyard Wind team and all involved in this remarkable achievement. Now let’s focus on getting to the next milestone – back feeding the Offshore Platform!
